So occasionally when I turn on my Xbox 360 it will not automatically log in to my Xbox Live account (like it should). It hangs for minutes at time before either finally logging in or telling me that it can't login at all.

A N, more likely. If you are connecting it with a Ethernet cable then it should be working. Check it is plugged into the right places into the modem and into the Xbox. The other reason why it wouldn't be working is because you haven't bought Xbox Live. You must buy Xbox live before you can use it.
Aug 31, 2008 · My son is having a problem connecting to xbox live too right now. But I am getting a good connection to the internet and we are both using wireless. Sometimes, rather than starting to mess about with settings etc, it is best just to let some time pass and then try it again later.
Jan 26, 2010 · So I recently got Modern Warfare 2 for xbox 360. Sweet game, so I signed up for live for it. I have 2 houses, mom n dads. Xbox was originally at my mom's and it hooked up to live via ethernet cable that I normally use for my computer. Worked fine. Then I switched it over to dad's house during a weekend, and brought the cable with me. Cleared my xbox 360 cache. Now I cant download my profile since the 360 emulator still cant connect to xbox live. I do not recommend this, lost my saves and my achievements are out of sync. Will @kominua Forgot to add, that my 360 console is connected to Xbox live whiteout issues. I tried many 360 games on xbox one as well, cannot connect to Xbox live and cannot download my profile. By the way, i already send text about that on private message, but still no reply. Thank you.
